Pastor assaults nurses at Sebokeng Hospital

SEBOKENG: Last night, Monday the 21st of November, the media received some voice notes of what seemed to be a nurse calling for “back up in the casualty department.”

New information has revealed that a former ANC member and pastor, identified as Pastor Vilakazi, assaulted nurses at the Sebokeng Hospital casualty department. The nurse who sent the voice notes erroneously reported, ‘ANC members are beating nurses’.

In a video Afrique Beat News received, the assailant is seen arguing with an unnamed woman in full view of patients and other nurses. He issues some threats, “I’m going to deal with you,” and walks away, hitting a nurse’s cellphone as he passed. This happened in full view of a uniformed police officer.

Police were called to the scene and the issue was resolved. It is not yet known if any arrests were made.

The cause of the ruckus is not yet known.

We have spoken to Captain Lephoto in Sebokeng who responded, “Confirmed case of malicious damage to property has been opened with us and investigations will continue.”
