Sheraton Pretoria Hotel R23m debt raising eyebrows

We mean business! Sheraton Hotel in the dark. Make arrangements to pay your account before you find yourself in the dark. Sheraton Hotel is owing us R23 million. #TshwaneYaTima

The City of Tshwane has tweeted that it has switched off the electricity at the Sheraton Hotel due to an unpaid utility debt of R23m, this got everyone asking, how did the debt get to be that huge? Don’t guests at The Sheraton Hotel pay cash? Why is the hotel management not paying their bills? Ordinary citizens will not go scot-free with a R1500 debt, even in these hard times, yet businesses can rack up to R23m debts before the Municipality takes action, fair?
