Zimbabwean legendary musician Zex Manatsa, has passed away

Zimbabwe: Legendary musician of the ‘Chipo Chiroorwa’ fame Zex Manatsa, has passed away. He was 78 years old. News of his untimely death has been confirmed on his Facebook page:

“With great sadness we would like to let everyone know that our Father, Our Legend, Pastor and Sekuru Zexie Manatsa, has succumbed to cancer. May his dear soul rest in peace.
01/01/44-20/01/2022″

Manatsa announced last year in August that he had been diagnosed with cancer known as Multiple Myeloma and was receiving treatment.

May his soul rest in peace.
