The greatest form of love is not only allowing your partner to shine but, giving them wings to fly as well. Many have had their wings clipped by the very same people they call partners. Is it still love when one doesn’t want to see his or her own partner prospering? Is it still love when one doesn’t want to see their own lover succeeding? What kind of love is it when jealousy is the order of the day? What does partnership mean? Certainly, it can’t mean competition. Partners need to complement each other and not compete against each other.

The old adage, ‘united we stand, divided we fall’ is not a lie. A home that is against itself will never stand. Just imagine having to keep your successes a secret from your partner to avoid upsetting them! If this is the love, then what does hatred look like?
One lady told me of how her husband would take her car and go to meet girlfriends when she needed it to attend lessons. She would have to travel long distances alone at night with public transport, yet she had a car which hubby was using for extra-marital affairs. She spoke at length of how she had to do house chores, mind the baby, go to work and still study without any form of support from her husband.

This is just how to know that you are sleeping with the enemy! Some partners are simply enemies of progress, wolves in sheep’s clothing.
What do you do when you realise that your enemy is the one person who is supposed to be closest to you? -Prepare for victory!
