Saturday the 23rd of October was the date and Three Rivers Lodge in Vereeniging the venue. It was a queen’s banquet indeed, a prestigious red carpet event and a successful one too.
All the women dressed as brides as they identified themselves as the brides of Christ and the theme of the event was, ‘Rising Against All Odds’.
Fountain of Life and Esther Ministry present Celebrating Queens in ministry, hosted by Thuli Radebe, founder of Esther Ministry
Several women gave testimonies of how they have risen against all odds. Testimonies varied but they all showed how women are suffering in marriages and in society as well. It seems, it’s not easy being a woman but, victory is possible especially when your trust is the only trustworthy groom, Jesus Christ, Yeshua.
Some of the ladies who shared their testimonies include radio personality, author and motivational speaker Nthabiseng Mosuoe-Sithole, entrepreneur, author and psychologist Noluthando Motsoane, media personality, women’s rights activist and founder of SALT (Sisters Abiding in Light and Truth) Nyakallo Mokoena, Phillipine Mmatli, Judith Nthethe, Ntswaki Nhlapo, Precious Maine among several others.
The stories though touching were however not told by victims but victors. Some of the ordeals include statutory rape, teen pregnancies, death of children, abuse in marriages and many others.
The main speaker was entrepreneur, philanthropist, former Vaal Technical University lecturer, pastor and Co-founder of the First Foundation Ministry, Zelda Oosthuizen. Zelda spoke about the essential oils that Queen Esther used to prepare herself for the meeting with the King. Among the several oils were myrrh and frankincense. She spoke about their uses, and how Esther’s preparation is the same as our preparation for the coming (back) King.
