Q: Who is Oooth? Oooth is a rock band and passion project by well-known SA Musician Jason Oosthuizen (previous drummer for Van Coke Kartel and Lost&Found). The band has been active since November 2018. Jason, although known for being one of the best drummers in SA, wanted to try his hand at being a lead singer and guitarist and has enjoyed it ever since.

Q: When was It’s Quite Simple released? The song was released 9 August 2021, on National Women’s Day

Q: Why did you choose PJ Powers for the colab? Jason has always been a fan and took a lucky shot to do a collab with one of his local heroes and was honoured when she said, ‘yes’.

Q: Do you have other tracks that you featured her besides It’s Quite Simple? No, just this one track

Q: How was it collaborating with a living legend? It was so amazing from the start. As a big SA Icon, I expected an entirely different experience. From the get go she was all in and as excited and passionate as I was about the song. I could not have asked for a better first colab.
