Jahrex Tie Dye going regional

Today I paid a young man by the name of Japheth Cyril Awan from Nigeria base in Kaduna State a very short visit. After seeing his Facebook page, I was curious to know a bit more about his tie and dye business.

Jahrex Tie Dye is my business name

Japheth Cyril Awan

Japheth explained that he’s an orphan who grew up without parents, “due to financial challenges and also, I saw the zeal to assist my aged grandmother in paying my fees, I started the tie and dye business which is my source of income.”

He goes on to say, “I learned tie & dye on YouTube, and applied the skills I was taught in college. I manipulated it in my local way using improvisation methods, at least now I have a lot of customers within and outside my state who buy on whosale and sell to get some gain, at least it’s one of my greatest achievements. Through this project, I am empowering some youth.”

Japheth says that Fine Art has been his dream since childhood, “I started the business at age 15, then I was in Jss3 at Elim foundation.

His advice to the young people:

My advice to the young is, once out there, don’t allow your condition to bring you down, take a bold step, build on it, challenges will come but it will all depend on how strong you are to overcome them. Just keep moving forward.
