SeSotho Musical Icon Kori Moraba Passes On

It is a poignant time in the world right now and South Africa is not being spared as giants keep falling one at a time. The celebrations of a new year have since been dampened as we mourn legends such as Dorah Sitole and Sesotho musical icon, Kori Moraba.

Isaac Kori Moraba was born on the 23rd of September 1947 in Moroka Shelters, Soweto. He died on the 2nd of January 2021 due to Covid-related complications.

According to SABC, his daughter Joylene Moraba confirmed his untimely passing.

Good day, this is the message to confirm that my father Kori Moraba well known for his hitmaker Tswang Tswang Tswang/ Tsoang Tsoang Tsoang in 1971 has passed away at Netcare Bougainville last night at 23h00. He succumbed due to COVID.
