‘PJ your DJ’ is no more

Veteran ZBC Radio disc jockey, Peter Johns, who was affectionately known by fans as ‘PJ Your DJ’ or ‘The Radio Driver’ has died. Peter Johns died in the United Kingdom yesterday evening at 60 years old. He hosted the Midday Jam on Radio 3 (now Power FM) in Zimbabwe back in the day and other shows which include the Mellow Madness and Weekend Love.

Peter Johns left Zimbabwe for UK in 2002. He was among other things an internet radio broadcaster. This DJ was unique, there just can never be another one like him. My deepest condolences to his family, may his dear soul rest in peace.
