Come softly to me sweet dewdrop
Like the rain after a prolonged lull
Like sweet nothings from a whispering breeze
Walk gently by my side
Hold my hand like you’ll never let go
Like one whose dream has come true
Make life a perpetual walk in the park
Make it a song about never-ending bliss
Softly sealed with a moonlight kiss
Touch me softly with your tongue
And caress me like the affluent lather
Of a cake of exotic royalty soap
Talk to me ever so softly
Like a mellifluous melody of love
That only a maestro’s touch can coax
Come softly to me darling like a new serenade
Massage my ego with the warmth of your soul
And bathe my misgivings in your doting eyes
Love me without reservation
Treasure me without hesitation
And help me make it through life
Yes, dance me to the apex of your love
Let me scan your bottomless depths
Then dunk me gently in your vintage passion
I am but a nobody you could love
A dismayed soul at a lone railway station
Waiting for a thrill on the outward bound
You’re the surprise that’s always been coming
The priceless prize that’s always been my due
You’re an echoed sigh across the void of endless timeAs I lay my head to rest upon a fluffy cloud
Dream with me the exquisite dreams of lovers
Entwined forever upon a lyrical transposition
